Health Innovations members will save 10% to 40% at over 15,000 dental providers nationwide, through our partnership with the Dental Network of America (DNoA), a national network of prescreened dental providers. Using our dental program, reduced pricing is guaranteed on normal procedures such as exams, X-rays, dentures, and fillings as well as specialty services like orthodontics, periodontics, root canals, etc.
How the Dental Referral Program Works:
- Members locate a participating provider in their area either by the Provider Search or by calling the toll free number in their membership kit.
- Call participating provider to make an appointment. Be sure that the member informs the office that they are a DNoA Select member or if the member is in the state of CA they will identify themselves as an Avesis member.
- The member should then present their Health Innovations membership card to the dental office upon arrival for scheduled appointment.
- Member pays the DNoA Select fee schedule price at the time of service. However, if the doctor's office usual and customary price for the services provided are lower than the DNoA Select fee schedule price, the member will be charged the dental offices usual and customary price minus 10% (except in CA where members will be charged the usual and customary price).
Outstanding Features of the Dental Network:
- Since the Dental Network is not an insurance program there are:
- No claim forms
- No deductibles to meet or maximums
- No pre-existing condition exclusions
- No reimbursement procedures
- Dental Network of America is comprised of dentists that have been through a thorough credentialing process.
- If the member has a traditional insurance plan, they can utilize the DNoA Select program at their appointment which may reduce their out of pocket expenses and then the member submits a claim form to their current traditional insurance plan. However, the DNoA Select program cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount programs, HMO, PPO or DHMO programs.
- Most procedures are covered except for implants. Many cosmetic items were added as covered items with the recently updated fee schedule. Teeth whitening, veneers, front and back composites, and overdentures are now covered items.
